Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Your resume is personal. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the control you have over your information.

1. Information you provide

Depending on how you use the service, you may provide: your resume, target job descriptions, other career information you choose to enter, and account information such as your name and email address. We also collect basic usage analytics to improve the product.

2. How we use your information

The information you submit is used to generate your Career Upgrade Map. When you are signed in, saved reports may be stored in your account so you can revisit them later. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-party services

We rely on trusted third-party service providers to operate Skill Gap Navigator, including for hosting, authentication, AI analysis, database storage, email, and payments. Information you submit may be processed by these providers to deliver the service. Because processors are involved, we do not claim your data is never shared — but we limit sharing to what is needed to run the product.

4. AI processing

Your Career Upgrade Map is generated by a large language model. Your resume and job description are transmitted to our AI provider to produce structured career guidance. AI output can contain errors, so review it before acting on it.

5. Data retention & deletion

Saved reports remain in your account until you delete them. You can delete individual reports, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data, from your Account page or by contacting us. We remove data in line with applicable legal and operational requirements.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and other safeguards to protect your information. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid submitting sensitive details beyond what is needed for analysis.

7. Your choices

You can access, update, or delete your information, and you can request data deletion at any time. To make a request, email support@yourdomain.com and include the email address associated with your account.
