Depending on how you use the service, you may provide: your resume, target job descriptions, other career information you choose to enter, and account information such as your name and email address. We also process service usage, eligibility and terms confirmations, historical entitlement and referral activity, and billing identifiers. Optional public-page analytics run only if you choose to allow them.

The information you submit is used to generate your Career Upgrade Map. When you are signed in, submitted resume and job-description text, generated reports, feedback and progress are stored in your account so you can revisit and update them. We do not sell your personal information.

We use Vercel for hosting and optional public-page analytics, Supabase for authentication and database storage, Anthropic for AI processing, Stripe for payments and subscription management, Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention, and Google if you choose Google sign-in. These services process information needed for their respective functions. Information you submit may be processed by these providers to deliver the service. Because processors are involved, we do not claim your data is never shared — but we limit sharing to what is needed to run the product.

Your Career Upgrade Map is generated by a large language model. Your resume and job description are transmitted to Anthropic to produce structured career guidance; relevant saved report summaries may also be sent for Career Strategy. Uploaded PDF and Word documents are parsed in server memory to extract text and are not kept as uploaded files. Review and remove unnecessary contact details, date of birth, government identifiers, health information, and other sensitive details before submitting. Provider retention, regional processing and any provider use of data depend on the applicable service agreement and settings; contact us for details. We do not promise zero retention by third-party providers. AI output can contain errors, so review it before acting on it.

Saved reports remain in your account until you delete them. You can delete individual reports, and you can permanently delete your entire account from the Account page (or by contacting support@skillgapnav.com). Account deletion removes your application account data and stored career-analysis content — including your profile and login, saved reports and Career Upgrade Maps, raw resume and job-description text, roadmap progress, weekly sprints, usage data, and referral rewards and entitlement history. If you have an active paid subscription, it is cancelled as part of account deletion to prevent future renewal charges. Some limited transaction, invoice, fraud-prevention, security, backup or legally required records may remain for the period required or permitted by law.

We use encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and other safeguards to protect your information. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid submitting sensitive details beyond what is needed for analysis.

You can view and update your profile, download your application data from Account → Download my data, and delete reports or your account. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correction, erasure, portability, restriction or objection, and to complain to a data-protection authority. You can delete your account yourself from the Account page, or email support@skillgapnav.com for help or a separate privacy request — include the email address associated with your account.

Sign-in cookies, security controls and your explicit privacy preference support the service. An anonymous career draft is kept in this browser tab’s session storage and is sent for AI analysis only after sign-in and submission; it is cleared after successful analysis or when you cancel or log out. A draft expires after an hour when next accessed. Pending verification stores only your email in this tab. Opening an invitation link sets referral cookies for up to 30 days to credit the invitation; signup can reward the inviter without revealing your resume or email to them. Optional analytics exclude private account pages and strip URL query strings. Use Privacy choices to allow or reject analytics or withdraw your choice.

The service is intended for users aged 16 and over. We use an age confirmation and record its time and notice versions; this is not identity-document verification. If you believe a person under 16 has submitted personal information, contact support@skillgapnav.com so we can investigate and address it.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Contact support@skillgapnav.com for information about the applicable processing locations, service agreements and transfer safeguards.
